The maximum number of signatures and/or remarques is 15
Unfortunately at this time, we can only offer the signature verification service of James Spence Authentication (JSA) should you decide to have your item graded at a later date. This is a service we hope to add in the future.
Unfortunately not. CGC will only certify a signature if they or an authorised person have witnessed the signature take place.
A remarque can be considered as anything more than a signature, such as a short message or more often a small sketch.
Whilst they will verify a signature, anything more than this will be simply notes on the label e.g. Steve Ditko signature + Sketch
By using a window bag, you can create an area of the book where you would like your chosen artist to sign or remarque. Bear Maximum can create these for you or you can follow the instructions in this video.
In a lot of instances signatures at events will be free but this isn't a guarantee. To ensure you do not miss out, it's worth contacting the event organiser or checking their website. If there is nothing posted, reaching out to the artist or their representatives directly should give you the answers you are looking for. Where we become privvy to any information on cost, we will do our best to share this with our customers.
We are introducing three pricing tiers due to the amount of time that there will be invested by Bear Maximum or their representatives for providing Signature & Art Capture. A signature, in many instances is a very quick process, however, as the profile of the artist increases, the opportunities for signatures decreases. Each artist will be allocated a tier or grouped together with others.
We will do our best to advise of which tier certain artists will fall into at the earliest opportunity and will update this information in the Upcoming Events link.
Bear Maximum work with an established group of artists for whom we can arrange original art. At events this may prove more complex, however, if you are interested please email info@bearmaximum.co.uk and we can discuss this on a case by case basis.
